Wednesday alone brought in <strong>$244.4 million<\/strong>, the strongest single day of the week, with <strong>BlackRock<\/strong>&#8216;s IBIT leading at <strong>$196.8 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inflows landed alongside comments from <strong>Franklin Templeton<\/strong> executive Christopher Perkins, who argued on the Wolf Of All Streets podcast that crypto markets have developed almost entirely without traditional bank participation. &#8220;We&#8217;ve developed this market to date with zero bank liquidity. Zero,&#8221; Perkins said, pointing to high capital costs and a fragmented state-by-state licensing regime as the main barriers. He said passage of the CLARITY Act, the market-structure bill currently stalled in the Senate, would give the industry federal preemption for the first time and prompt banks to move &#8220;pedal to the metal&#8221; into the space. Even without the legislation, he added, institutional build-out will continue, just at a slower pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perkins, who moved from CoinFund to Franklin Templeton earlier this year, said market makers he speaks with cannot keep pace with the volume of new institutional clients lining up to trade. He described a disconnect between weak sentiment and improving fundamentals \u2014 a gap he sees as where opportunities typically form. On altcoins, he said a rotation toward projects with real fundamentals, rather than narrative-driven tokens, is already underway among institutional buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Separately, analyst Ali Martinez flagged on X that bitcoin&#8217;s net capital flow is showing a bullish divergence against price similar to the pattern that preceded the run from roughly $15,000 to $126,000 in the prior cycle \u2014 capital flowing in while price stays range-bound near $64,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three-day inflow streak comes as bitcoin trades in a narrow band, still short of reclaiming levels seen earlier this summer.
