According to an Interpol press release, Thai authorities arrested two individuals accused of laundering proceeds generated through romance fraud schemes. The broader operation, which concluded this week, resulted in 5,811 arrests worldwide, the seizure of approximately $293 million in illicit assets, and the freezing of 31,014 bank accounts.
