The STEPN project team has unveiled a strategic partnership with sportswear giant Adidas. This collaboration aims to revolutionize move-to-earn applications and promote the global implementation of the Find Satoshi Lab (FSL) ecosystem. As part of the partnership, they will release a collection of 1000 unique STEPN x Adidas Genesis non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Scheduled for launch on April 17 on the MOOAR marketplace, the NFT collection will integrate across both brands’ apps. STEPN CEO Shiti Manghani highlighted the collaboration’s motivation and incentivization for running activities.
Despite the partnership announcement, the project’s native token, GMT, saw modest growth, trading at nearly $0.26 at the time of writing. However, GMT remains 93% below its all-time high in April 2022, when it reached $4.11.
Previously, the STEPN team announced the FSL points airdrop, distributing points based on the shelf life of digital Genesis sneakers. Owners will receive points based on ownership duration: over 24 months, 12-24 months, and 6-12 months.
